LEICESTER boss Simon Stead reckons they can upset reigning champions Swindon at the Abbey tonight (7.30).
Stead’s side are facing their second away meeting in the space of two days after Wednesday’s trip to Rye House was washed out after eight heats.
The Watling JCB Lions are still itching to complete their first Premiership meeting and get some points on the board - and Stead believes they can overcome a tough test against the Robins to do just that.
“It’s going to be a very different test at Swindon to what we faced at Rye House, but it’s on we’re looking forward to.
“We know it will take our new guys some time to adjust, but it should suit us a bit more and we’re looking to get a result.
“We want to get some points on the board, and even though Swindon are a good side I don’t see any reason why we can’t come away with something.”
Paul Starke guests for Michael Palm Toft, whilst the Lions are otherwise unchanged.
